Marienpoel Hotel Leiden

The Mariënpoel Hotel Leiden is a new hotel in Leiden with a great atmosphere. Central station, the Bio-Sciencepark, Centrum, de Universiteit and the LUMC are all on walking distance from the hotel. The building dates from 1907 its an officical monument and contains all the comforts of modern time. The building is also completely fire proof.
Thanks to its location big cities like Amsterdam, Den Haag, and Rotterdam as well as small places can be reached easily. This is a non smoking hotel!

The hotel is located on walking distance from, City Centre, LUMC Hospital, University, Bio/Sciencepark, Museums, Sportschool, swimmingpools. Leiden is not only a very nice city, but it's also a perfect location, it's located very central for example taking the bus to the keukenhof, Noordwijk, Katwijk, Scheveningen or the Flowerauction Aalsmeer, the train offers a perfect connection to travel to Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Delft.

When walking through Leiden it's rich history still seems very much alive. This is where Rembrandt van Rijn was born 400 years ago and developed his painting skills and where Clusius brought the first Dutch tulips into flower. Leiden has 9 museums, all worth a visit. The priceless and unique collections on show enjoy international fame. Leiden's atmosphere is largely determined by the fist University in Holland (1575), which has developed into a world-famous centre os science, while its many students contribute to the lively and convivial atmosphere in the city. Leiden has a large number of shops in the historic city centre. Also every Wednesday and Saturday a large general market is held along the banks of the Rhine, a market that has existed for over 900 years! A great diversity in restaurants establishes Leiden as a truly culinary city.

Walking distance Central Station (only 3 min.), LUMC exit, cross the road go right, cross the road go left, you will find the hotel located on the second street right, Mariënpoelstraat/ corner Rijnsburgerweg.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 1.85 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs EUR 12.50 per 24 hours.
Wired internet is available in public areas and costs EUR 6.25 per 30 minutes.

Meal Plan: Breakfast costs EUR 12.75 per person.

Parking: Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 7.50 per day.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
