Ambassade Hotel

The Ambassade Hotel consists of 10 originally seperated 17th- century buildings along Amsterdam's main canal: Herengracht.
The hotel has 59 rooms and suites, all stylishly designed with classical furniture and modern art, especially works from the famous CoBrA movement.

There are 2 lounges and a large breakfast room overlooking the canal. It also has a library with an extensive collection of books that have been signed by the numerous authors that stayed here over the years and a free internet office for guests to use.

Koan Float is the hotel's floating and massage centre.

Surrounding Area

The Ambassade Hotel is located on Amsterdam's main canal: Herengracht, a few steps away from the flowermarket and not even 10 minutes walk to Dam-square.
Also Anne Frank's House and all museums are located at short walking distance.
The main shopping streets and an enormous choice of restaurants can be found in the immediate area.

Transport

The Ambassade Hotel can easily be reached by car: from direction Utrecht follow "Amstel" and then "Stadhouderskade", turn right by the Heineken Brewery and then, after crossing 5 canals, turn left.
From the airport: follow the ringroad (A10) in the direction "Leeuwarden", take exit S105 and drive to "Centrum"(Centre). Turn right on Herengracht and make a U-turn at the 3rd bridge.
Public transport: from Central Station take tram 1 or 2 or 5 to the 3rd stop ("Spui"). Take the first corner right, go through the alley between 2 café's, cross Singel-canal and when reaching Herengracht, go right. The hotel is located 50 meters further at nr 341.

Restaurants

The Ambassade Hotel has a beautiful breakfastroom, with large chandeliers and overlooking the canal.
Lunch, snacks and a small dinner can be ordered around the clock from roomservice.
The reception also gladly recommends one of the numerous restaurants in the area and can make dinner-reservations.

Cancellation Terms

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
5 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Continental breakfast costs EUR 16.00 per person.

Parking: No parking available.

Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
